Patricia « Pat » Irene Hilton
1941-2017
Hilton – The death occurred at
the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, July 31, 2017, of
Patricia « Pat » Hilton, of Summerside and formerly of
Spring Valley, aged 76 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter
of the late Ivan and Margaret (MacLean) Harrington. Survived by her
son Karl Tostengard; daughters Heather Hilton (Shawn Campbell) and
Josephine « Josie » Young (Leonard LeClair);
granddaughters Lorinda Hilton (Nick) and Emma Hilton (Jared);
great-grandson Calvin; brother Ross (Sheila) Harrington; sister Norma
(Garth) Wall; by « Bucky’s » daughter Nancy
Adams and her daughter Vicky Lynn Adams; and by her Fur Babies Pixie,
Honey Dew, Ginny and Tang. Predeceased by her first husband George
Hilton; second husband Donald « Bucky » Buchanan; and
by a son in infancy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside,
where funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment
later in St. Stephen’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Irishtown.
Visiting hours Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Memorial donations to the
Patricia Hilton Memorial Fund or the P.E.I. Humane Society would
appreciated.

Suddenly at home on Sunday, July 30, 2017 of Ian Smith of
Oyster Bed Bridge and Stratford age 58 years.
Beloved husband of Bernice Gallant. Stepfather of Jason
(Mandy) Perry and Cory (Kristin) Perry. Son of the late Edward and
Agnes Smith. Son-in-law of Evangeline and the late Alfred Gallant.
Dear brother of Craig, Teddy (Christine), Brian, Roger (Jeanne), Gail
(Gordon deceased) Dennis, Gary, Wayne (Debbie), Kenny, Carol (Steven)
MacArthur, Allan (Jackie), Robbie (Keila), and Sharon (George)
Fairfax. Brother-in-law of Ernest (Paula) Gallant, Norma (Cedric
Gallant, Maurice (Brenda) Gallant, Donnie (Loretta) Gallant, Marcella
Gallant, Kevin (Sherry) Gallant, Robert (Ashan) Gallant and Gerald
(Michel) Gallant. Ian will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles,
nieces and nephews and his canine companions Buddy and
Billy.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home
from where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in
the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Floral Hills
Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 6:00 to
9:00 p.m.

January 23, 1957 son of Helen Maude (Higgins) Mc Rae and the late
William J. McRae. Survived by brothers William J. McRae Jr. his wife
Donna Engler and their children Ian and Lily McRae and John A. (Jack)
Predeceased by sister Marion Gael McRae. Funeral Mass will be held at
the St. Mary’s Holy Family Church, Kensington on Saturday
August 5th at
10 a.m. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Indian
River. If so desired contributions may be made to Friends of St.
Mary’s.

(Higgins) McRae of Somerville, MA aged 95 years. Born in Kensington on
January 12, 1922 daughter of the late William T. and Maude (MacLaren)
Higgins. Wife of the late William J. McRae. Mother of William J. McRae
Jr. his wife Donna Engler and their children Ian and Lily McRae and
John A. (Jack) McRae. Predeceased by daughter Marion Gael McRae and
son Kenneth George McRae. Funeral Mass will be held at the St.
Mary’s Holy Family Church Kensington on Saturday August 5 at
10 a.m. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Indian

Charlottetown, on Sunday, July 30, 2017 of Kathy Lecky, of
Charlottetown, aged 57 years. Born in Fort St. John, BC, she is the
daughter of George and Marjorie « Marge » (Noonan) Lecky.
Survived by her children James, Lara and Kayla Haugen; grandson Riley
Haugen; her sisters Karen (Mike) Walker, Andrea Lecky (Jimmy
Arsenault), Laura (Robert) Waugh, Christina Lecky and Alison Lecky
(Keith Hambly); and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her
husband Lonny Haugen. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside,
where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment
in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Thursday
from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial donations to the
Canadian Cancer Society or the P.E.I. Humane Society would be
