It is with great sadness that
the families of John Charles David Michelin announce his unexpected
passing on July 26, 2017 in Sheshatshiu, NL at the age of 32
years. He leaves to mourn, his mother Dianne Greeley and
stepfather Cyril; his father Albert Michelin
and
stepmother Heather; his brothers Albert Michelin (Holly)
and Brendan Greeley; his sisters
Melissa Tremblett (Jason) and Megan Woodward (Isaac); as well as
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral
service will be conducted from the Roman Catholic Church in
Sheshatshiu on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 2 pm.
Cremation to
follow.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the
Late Melinda Quilty announce her passing on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at
Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 96 years.
She will always be remembered and loved by her children,
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, other family and friends
for her great sense of humor and her love for her family. She was
pre-deceased by her parents James and Mary King; husband Benedict and
daughter Geraldine. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 1,
2017 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home,
Stephenville Crossing, NL. The funeral service will also take place at
Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL on
Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. with Father Chris Mekala
officiating. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Highlands, NL
will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy
flowers are graciously accepted.

It is with deep loss and sadness that the family of Octavia
Angela Marjorie Osborne announces her sudden passing at the Janeway
Childrens Hospital in St. John’s on June 21st, 2017 at the age of one
year and five months. Octavia lived with her parents Wendy and
Matthias and her two sisters Cadence and Adaisha in Lab City.
They will miss their daughter and little sister very much.
She also leaves to mourn grandparents: Warren &
Millie Osbourne of Three Mile Rock, Ed & Angela
Tatchell of Castor River North, Alonzo & Lucy Tatchell of
Castor River North; great grandparents: Matthias & Marjorie
Osborne of Brig Bay, Anora Tatchell of Port au Choix and Rose Tatchell
of Castors River North; Aunt Carla (Scott) Thompson; Uncles: Thomas
(Brenda) Tatchell, Keith (Colleen) Tatchell, Wyman Tatchell, Edmund
(Jodi) Tatchell; godparents: Darlene (Rene) Genneaux, Courtney
Tatchell and Cory Tatchell as well as many relatives all of whom loved
and adored this sweet child very much. She was predeceased
by grandmother Clara Osborne, grandfather Isaac Tatchell, great
grandparents Maggie and Patrick Tatchell and great grandfather Thomas
Tatchell.
A funeral service officiated by Rev’d Jennifer Renouf will be
held on Sunday, June 25th at Church of Advent in Plum Point at 11:00
am after which cremation will take place at Fillatre Crematorium in
Pasadena as per the family wishes. A service of Interment
will be held at a later date to be determined.
Family and friends may leave messages of condolence,
donations In Memorium or sign the guest book by visiting the website
at www.fillatre.ca. The family entrusted funeral
arrangements to Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Port au Choix.
